Our list of Domaines now encompasses eleven of the major and satellite villages of the Cote díOr. We have chosen these Domaines because they each represent some of the Regionís finest wines, yet they seldom, if ever, find their way into Britain.

All these growers are established family businesses that take great pride in their craft. It is possible that you have not heard of any of them, yet some of them are regarded as being amongst the leading wine growers in France. Many of the village names will be familiar. Gevrey Chambertin, Nuits St Georges, Meursault and the two Montrachets, Chassagne and Puligny; each has a global reputation, but Marsannay? Auxey Duresses? St Aubin? These are the lesser villages that are so often overlooked as the world hurries to the big names, yet Auxey adjoins Meursault and St Aubin adjoins the Montrachets and the growers here will invariably have holdings of wines within the major villages.

Each of the Domaines has assisted us in compiling the notes about them and their wines and we hope that this will allow you to have a greater appreciation of the personalities that lie behind them, as well as for the wines themselves. At this level, personalities are a vital, vibrant ingredient in the finished product.

The establishment of JustBurgundy has been and continues to be a fascinating and enjoyable journey. What we have set out to do is allow you to widen your horizons within one of the greatest wine growing areas of the world. We know only too well that Burgundy can easily be daunting on account of the complexity of its Appellations and its ownership structure. What JustBurgundy hopes to achieve is not simplification, but clarification. We want more people to become aware of these Domaines and to enjoy their wines, so that these superb family estates are able to continue into the next generations, still producing their minute quantities of high quality wines, for us and others to enjoy.

Can say, on its own technology and deep understanding on the network economy model, cisco became one of the successful practitioners of network application. Meanwhile the cisco is committed to numerous companies to build network unimpeded, "bridge" between, with his keen insight, rich industry experience, advanced technology, help enterprises to apply network into a strategic asset, tap the network energy, gain a competitive advantage.

M et Mme Tatraux Juillet’s Domaine is always hard to find. There seem to be endless minor roadworks that so often cause those famous Deviations that can trap non-locals into hours of fruitless driving and I get caught more than most! I also keep forgetting that their Domaine is actually based in the village of Poncey, not Givry. Village with a big one-way system which, as I recall, has no signs to Poncey. So once you are there, you might well be in the wrong place for quite a while! The Tatraux Juillet’s have holdings of three Givry 1er Cru reds and village wines in both red and white fifa coins
Chevillon-Chezeaux
This branch of the Chevillon family is based quite close to the centre of Nuits St Georges, just a few hundred metres off the main N74. They own a fine range of vineyards that includes no less than six 1er Cru sites. Their Hautes Cotes de Nuits, both red and white are excellent Bell & Ross Replica Watches examples of their type, while their top wines are vins de garde that are approachable while young. In addition to their lovely range of reds, the family has a tiny parcel of relatively unknown Les Busselots 1er Cru white.
Huguenot Pere et Fils
The northernmost tip of the Cote d'Or vineyards almost adjoin Dijon and the last major village is Marsannay. It is here,
behind the Church and not far from the main square that M Jean-Louis Huguneot continues a family winemaking tradition that goes back to the middle of the 18th century. Today joined by his son Philippe, they make several award winning reeftigershop.com wines, mainly from their own village and nearby Gevrey Chambertin.
Michel Ampeau <a href=Tag Heuer Replica Watches" src="images/subheader_mampeau.gif" border="0" width="230" height="36">
The first seriously fine Burgundy that I bought direct from a vigneron, was from Michel's father Robert, in 1986. This was a memorable visit, which has ensured that we have revisited Burgundy almost every year since. The wine I bought, a 1982 Volnay Santenots (along with some Meusault Villages 1983 which Monsieur Robert allowed me to buy, while muttering "infanticide" quietly to himself), was an eye-opener and when I recently reminded Michel of this he trumped my ace by producing a bottle of 1982 for us to try. Under Michel this remains a Domaine where you find the old world charm that is so integral to Burgundy.
Olivier Leflaive
Puligny Montrachet needs little introduction and for many of us Olivier Leflaive is almost as well known as the village. He set up Olivier Leflaive Freres over 20 years ago and with his wine maker Franck Grux he produces an internationally celebrated range of white wines and some equally impressive reds, from his cellars just off the main square. Surprisingly, his red wines have never found their way into the UK and it is a great pleasure for us to be able to break this duck and introduce his full range.
Rene Lamy-Pillot
Rene is the head of a family Domaine whose roots in Chassagne Montrachet stretch back several centuries. Now joined by his two daughters and sons-in-law, they live right in amongst their vines, just outside the village.
Philippe Senard
Our first chance encounter with Philippe Senard was at a huge wine tasting in Beaune, watches an occasion which led to us being invited, a day or so later, to sample an extraordinary selection of Corton and Pernand Vergelesses. Domaine Comte Senard has a superb array of wines from the Appellation, including some that are unique and only produced in tiny quantities, as well as some majestic "Monopoles".
Michel Prunier et Fille
Michel is one of THE characters of the Cote de Beaune. Always on the go; how he has the energy, I do not know. The first wine I bought from him was his Clos du Val 1985, which was sadly drunk too young, or should I say I failed to buy enough to keep some to its maturity? Now joined by his daughter Estelle, they run their vineyard and the restaurant adjoining their Domaine, La Cremaillere.
Dennis Blondeau-Danne
M. Denis Blondeau-Danne lives in the heart of St Aubin, partly surrounded by his own vines. The village is only a couple of kilometres west of replica watches Chassagne and M. Blondeau-Danne makes wines from this and neighbouring villages, ranging from his St Aubin 1er Cru right up to the Grand Cru Criots Batard Montrachet .
Domaine Lejeune
This is a traditional Domaine in a traditional setting, with its weathered stone buildings located in the main square,Best Replica Watches looking across at the front door of the church. M Jullien de Pommerol, the owner, is well known amongst many if not all of the younger generation of vignerons, as he taught at the Beaune Lycee Viticole. The wines here are for keeping although we are able to confirm that they can be most enjoyable when still quite young. The top wines however really should be given at least 5 years.
Henri Rebourseau
This domaine is named after the present owner's great grandfather, swiss replica watches who reorganised the family's holdings in Gevrey. Today M. Jean de Surrel makes wines ranging from a "humble" Gevrey Chambertin villages, through several Grands Crus up to Le Chambertin. His tasting room is a charming stone building with a large map hanging above the fireplace. His own vineyards leap off the map at you, on account of having been rubbed by so many fingers over the years. He has some of the finest sites in the village and a very jovial golden retriever.
